Start of collaboration with FREJA

Wednesday was the start of our collaboration with FREJA (Technical Physicists’ Association for Girls and Non-Binaries at Uppsala University). Unibap’s own technical-physics alumnus Elisabeth Schold Linnér invited to a 45-minute lunch hangout together with all of FREJA’s members. It was a fun meeting with questions about what it is like to work at Unibap and our technology. We are already looking forward to the next meeting!

Chairperson, FREJA

– It is so fun to meet young girls and non-binaries who study technical physics and who want to work with technology. It is also gratifying to receive such great feedback from the participants. We will do this again soon !, says Elisabeth Schold Linnér, engineer at Unibap.

– Very exciting that we are up and running! The meeting with Unibap was genuinely appreciated among the participants and it was nice to meet Elisabeth who has a background in what we are currently studying. We from FREJA are very much looking forward to the next joint event and are so happy for our collaboration, says Lovisa Ekeroot, chairman of FREJA.

For both Unibap’s and Sweden’s competitiveness, we need to get the smartest talent to work with the challenges of the future. That is why we at Unibap have chosen to become partners with FREJA, which contributes to increasing the number of applicants and broadening the diversity of technical educations.
