    New talent within computer vision

Filip Ärlemalm joins Unibap as computer vision engineer. He will be part of creating systems for industrial and space applications using platforms such as Unibap’s IVS-70.

Filip has recently finished his master’s degree in Wireless systems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. He completed his master’s thesis in signal processing and machine learning for Kolmården Wildlife Park, working on recurrent neural networks. As a part of the engineering program he has also carried out an exchange semester at Osaka University in Japan, working on image recognition for vehicle detection.

    – Developing machine learning and image processing methods for computer vision is something I really want to do, says Filip. Working for Unibap, I’m looking forward to learn a lot and to contribute with my own ideas.
