Representatives from Unibap AB will attend the ELMIA Automation Exhibition which takes place between 15 and 18 May. Unibap and our partner MIBA Industriteknik will demonstrate industrial automated quality control and robotic pickup in stand D07:17.
The collaboration with MIBA Industrial Technology establishes increased competitiveness for our common customers, taking advantage of flexible automation with automated quality control using the Intelligent Vision System (IVS) solutions.
Unibap and MIBA Industrial Engineering participate and collaborate in parallel with our commercial cooperation in an ongoing research project called “DigiLoad”, which focuses on flexible automation in automatic hanging and unpacking of components in industrial production.
We are happy to welcome four new members to the Unibap team – Kerstin, Dana, Robert and Sebastian.
Financial assistant and administration
Kerstin has a diploma education from IHM business school and she has previously worked as financial assistant payroll at SNA Europé.
Head of marketing and business development
Robert holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Economics from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). He has previously worked as marketing manager and business area manager with focus on growth at Xylem (NYSE: XYL).
Senior technical sales manager
Dana holds a PhD Candidate in Computer Vision from ANU University, Canberra, Australia. He has previously had the position of CEO and business analyst at danaXa Pty Ltd, and also worked as research assistant at National ICT of Australia (NICTA/CSIRO).
Sebastian Kan Banås
Sebastian holds a M.Sc. in Computational Science from Uppsala University and he has previously worked as project engineer at Scopix Solutions in Santiago, Chile.
On April 12, Unibap’s CEO Fredrik Bruhn participated in the Swedish online news program “Ekonomistudion” (Dagens Industrier). He presented Unibap’s business areas with a particular focus on products and services for the space industry.

Within the ”Perfect View” project Unibap has previously implemented support for ABB and Universal Robot controllers. The Intelligent Vision System (IVS-70) is now also ready to control Motoman industrial robots from YASKAWA. This is an important step in the development of Unibap’s technology platform.
