Sandvik Materials Technology has ordered a pilot installation for inspection at the Tube division. The pilot installation is based on Unibap’s Intelligent Vision Platform (IVP) and is carried out in a sharp production environment.

After a successful small-scale feasibility study in the spring where we have inspected high-quality pipes, we will, as the next step, in the autumn install a quality inspection station to evaluate automated inspection using AI.
