Starting yesterday ESA Phi-Week is a week long event which, among other goals, aims to explore application for Earth Observation (EO) technologies. It is also a forum for inspiration and exchange of experiences.

Unibap is displaying the SpaceCloud Framework which is developed within ESA’s InCubed program. SpaceCloud revolutionizes EO by providing cloud capabilities, but in space! The SpaceCloud Framework provides an API for third party app development to be run on Unibap’s space hardware, the iX5. This enables on-board analytics, for faster insights and less data downlink.

Our CEO Dr. Fredrik Bruhn will partake in a round table discussion about EO Innovation and growth from an industrial perspective on Friday 2nd of October.
