As previously announced (press release August 21, 2022), Unibap has been in dialogue with an industrial consortium to be part of project Bifrost. In December 2022, Unibap also received an order from FMV, the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration, for a SpaceCloud computer in the iX5 family with associated services (press release December 22, 2022).

The project will design and build a satellite that will carry out in-orbit tests of space-based AI for real-time processing of sensor data. The satellite will have multiple sensors and will use AI technology to rapidly process and sort large amounts of data.
