    Karolina Bruhn Head of operations

    On 1 September, Karolina Bruhn will start as Head of Operations, and she will also be a member of Unibap’s management team. In her new role, she will be responsible for developing the production flow and building on relationships with suppliers and customers.

    By the 1st of September Elisabeth Schold Linnér is joining Unibap, taking the role as Intermediates engineer. Elisabeth holds a PhD in Computerized Image Analysis from Uppsala University in Sweden.

    Unibap announces IVS-70 for smart factories and advanced robotics

    Unibap AB (publ) announces the Intelligent Vision System 70 (IVS-70) platform for industrial robotics and automation applications on schedule as previously announced. IVS-70 testing and evaluation production (0-series) units are now available after successfully concluding preliminary certification, with planned completed extended certification and manufacturing ramping up during fall 2017 of specific products. IVS 0-series units will be provided to partners and pilot projects for application implementation and development.

    Lena W Jansson strengthens Unibap’s management team

    On 1 July, Lena W Jansson will start as Head of Talent and Communication at Unibap, and will be a member of the management team. Previously, Lena has acted as advisor to Unibap’s Board of Directors, but will now take on a bigger role in the organisation.

    Unibap in Ny Teknik – how can space technology be used on Earth?

    In an article in the Swedish magazine Ny Teknik [New Technology] Unibap’s CEO Fredrik Bruhn talks about how the company’s space-certified technology opens up new opportunities in industrial automation on Earth. Among others, he says: “One reason why few SMEs use robotics for automation is the high costs, including the programming costs. Our AI system can reduce those costs since it makes it possible to tell or show the robot what to do without programming.”
